We know the weather may not be ideal to run outside today, but don't let that hold you back.
Bundle up and hit the ground running...or walking, always listening to your body.
You can also save this workout for brighter, warmer days to come.
You will need:
Medium Weights
Yoga Mat or Towel
Fitness Step or Home Stairs.
Warmup: Walk around the block, or put on your favorite songs and dance it out-giving yourself at least a 5 minute warmup.
Workout:
To Start: 50 Jumping Jacks + 10 Burpees
Then:
400m Run, or around a block.
{can sub .5mi bike ride or 2minutes of cardio, like 30 seconds of burpees + 30 seconds of scissor lunges for 2 rounds. }
25 Hand Release Pushups
25 Squat Thrusters {medium weights}
25 Box Jumps-can do weighted squats or squat jumps if no stairs/step available.
If lower impact is needed, sub weighted step ups for jumps.
Complete 4 rounds.
Once completed, perform 200 reps of core exercises.
25 Plank Jacks
25 Double Leg Lifts
25 Crunches
25 Mountain Climbers
